Home Infusion

Do you have a chronic illness such as Ulcerative colitis, antibody deficiency, or hereditary angioedema? Have an acute illness such as UTI or other infections? We are here to help. We provide in-home treatment of IV immunoglobulin therapy, IV enzyme therapy, and IV antibiotics. Ask your physician if the home infusion is right for you.

Antibiotic infusion

Antibiotics are used to treat bacterial infections. These infections are caused by a variety of organisms and at times intravenous antibiotics are the first line of treatment for certain infections. Especially for those organisms that have built up a resistance to antibiotics. Such infections are Extended Spectrum Beta-lactamase (ESBL) and Carbapenem-Resistant Enterbacterales (CRE). Intravenous antibiotics are used to treat infections such as pyelonephritis, bacteremia, and osteomyelitis.

Enteral and gastrostomy tube feeding

There are different ways to receive nutrition if an individual is unable to eat orally. Enteral (NG tube) and/or gastrostomy tube (g-tube) are two examples of alternative methods of feeding. Our well-trained nurses provide teaching for the patient and caregiver. We monitor sites for infection and notify physicians with any concerns.

Immunoglobulin and enzyme therapy

Immunoglobulin therapy (IVIG) is a type of immunotherapy that is used to treat patients with antibody deficiency. IVIG can be used to treat Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, and scleroderma, just to name a few.  IV enzyme therapy (ERT) is the treatment used to replace enzymes in those with enzyme deficiency or enzyme malfunction. Such conditions are Fabry disease and Pompe disease.

Respite Care

A question that is frequently asked is, What is respite care? Respite care is temporary care to provide relief for the permanent caregiver. Respite care can be planned or emergent. A temporary caregiver will care for your loved one at home while you take a well-deserved outing or vacation, for example.  Need a day to relax, give us a call today!

Companion Care

Is your loved one showing signs of loneliness or depression such as loss in activities that he/she once enjoyed or being withdrawn? He/she might need someone to talk with or play their favorite game with. Companion care might be the solution. Companion care is non-medical care that is provided by a caregiver in the home.  Having someone to share stories with really uplifts the elderly. Find out how we can be a companion to your loved one.

Home Health

Home health services vary and are provided by a skilled and qualified registered nurse. Services include but not limited to wound care management, patient/caregiver education, and monitoring chronic and acute conditions or injuries.  This service is more cost-effective when compared to a skilled nursing facility or nursing home. All care is done in the convenience of your home. Your primary physician is notified of your progress and also follows up with you in the office.  Allow us to care for you.
